  I was very pleased to find the Pleasant Grove Church and Pleasant Grove Cemetery in excellent care. The Reverend Stephen Holowell and his son are important in the Maxwell family history. The Rev. Hollowells served as guardians for Maxwell children in the 1870's. A grandmother Elisabeth Maxwell b.1785 d.1877 with many other Maxwells, including my namesake grandfather, rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

  I was so pleased to find Stephen Hollowell's church and cemetery to add to my family history. His brother Hensley was my 3rd great grandfather.
